Louise Low
Born in 1984 in Kuala Lumpur, Louise Low graduated from Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 2005. Choosing the orchid and the gender symbol as her subjects 
she formulates her work specifically based on a commitment to change the way society looks at Women Art. This young artist’s works reflect her belief on the change required to address the ways that women’s experience has been suppressed and marginalized in modern Asian culture. In 2005, her works were shown at the Metropolitan Art Gallery in Seoul and at the Third International Biennial in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
