Art sets the aspects of this changing world, it is externalization, will to overcome the gradual change. It is not history but art that expresses the real life. Art realizes what nature has wanted and attempted. It completes her imperfect sketches. This is why the world is justifiable only as an esthetic phenomenon.
Ernesto Pujazon is working on his new paintings. As a prelude to his exhibition at Meusse in 2010, a few of his seminal works can be viewed at the gallery this month. Pujazon has a penchant for gold and other expressive colours with reflective qualities. He preconceives the final look of the painting before laying precise drawings and vivid brush strokes onto a large canvas.
